Family Camp July 27-29, 2018
Family Relaxing and Fun!
Family CampFamily Camp is a relaxing long weekend of fun and spiritutal nourishment for the whole family. Camp starts Friday with Supper at 6:00 PM and ends Sunday with Lunch at 12:00 PM. You can enjoy the laid back schedule and be involved in as much or as little of the program you would like. You can expect each day to be led into worship and engaged and encouraged by great guest worship leaders and speakers.
The daily schedule starts with breakfast, chapel later in the morning, and lunch at noon. The afternoon is filled with program options for the whole family to choose from or just ride the hayride to the beach and enjoy the water, sand, and sun. After supper in the evening there will be a fun family oriented wide game or activity. Each evening concludes with time around the campfire.
2018 Family Camp Worship Leader
“Matt lives in Kelowna with his amazing wife, Josie and their three lovable, active and wild boys. He is on staff at Evangel Church overseeing the small group ministry and young adult ministry. He has a passion to lead others in worship that started in his early teens while in youth group that has led to many opportunities to oversee worship teams. His desire is first to lift up Jesus and secondly lead people into God’s presence for an opportunity for the Holy Spirit to work in people’s hearts. It’s in these moments that we surrender to God and are renewed by His Spirit. Be expectant that God will meet you during these worship times.”
2018 Family Camp Speaker
“Tony serves as the bi-vocational pastor at Saddleback Community Church in Nakusp, BC. Possibly as a mid-life crisis joke of sorts, God called him, his wife Kirsten, and their three children to leave their secure comfort-zone life in Grand Forks and step into the great mystery called “full-time-part-time pastoral ministry”. Though still not quite sure that they or God quite knew what they were doing, they continue to pour themselves out for His kingdom in Nakusp. Throughout this journey Tony has found his passion to be communicating the Word of God and how it applies in our lives today, is excited to be able to do so here in their old stomping grounds, and excited about what God is going to do as we come together to seek Him.”
