Arrival and Departure Information and other FAQs

For Camps 2-6, check-in starts at 10:00 AM on Monday, your first day of camp.
For Camp 1 check-in is at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, your first day of camp.

All sessions end with the closing program at 10:00 AM on the Saturday at the end of the week. All parents and campers are encouraged to attend the Closing Program. At this 15-20 minute long program, you can look forward to hearing some songs, see a video clip from your week of camp and check out the remaining lost and found to ensure you are taking home all your stuff.

Day Camps run from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM on each of their scheduled days. There will be no closing programs for any Day Camps. Drop-ins are welcome.

Make sure you go to the Pines General Store for T-Shirts, Pines-wear, and other souvenir’s that will be on sale during Check-in and at the Closing Program.

In the event of an emergency, and you need to contact your child, please call the camp facility at 442-0220 ext 108 and leave a message. Messages are checked regularly, as staff are often busy with camp programs and unable to pick up every call. Parents and friends are encouraged NOT to visit during the camp week in order to help us avoid campers getting homesick. Since camp is a very busy place, visitors will cause kids to end up missing out on activities & games. There are always some volunteer opportunities in the kitchen if you feel the need to be near by.

Please check the LOST AND FOUND at the closing of your camp week. Camp cabin leaders and staff will not be responsible for loss or damage to campers’ clothing and property caused by a camper’s participation in the Camp Program. Lost and Found will be kept at the Camp until the end of September. After which it will be donated to our local thrift store.

If you have any questions about Camp or your child’s welfare at camp contact the Director, and we will gladly answer all your questions! 250-442-0220 ext 101 (office)
